Lawyer Eric Purchase Named Chair of Erie County Bar Association Civil Litigation Section
Eric J. Purchase was selected by the Erie County Bar Association to chair the organization’s Civil Litigation Section. The section is responsible for providing education, programs, and services to Erie County lawyers who represent clients in civil cases in the Court of Common Pleas of Erie County and in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
This is the second time that Mr. Purchase has been named by his peers to act as Chairman of the Erie County Bar Association’s Civil Litigation Section. Mr. Purchase also serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and as a delegate in the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s House of Delegates.
Mr. Purchase is one of the co-founders of Purchase, George & Murphey, P.C., an Erie law firm representing people injured in accidents and as a result of medical mistakes. He has personally represented hundreds of clients in Pennsylvania injury and wrongful death cases and trials since beginning his practice in 1991. He is also the proud father of three children and an avid Steelers fan.
