Erie Lawyer Receives Military Promotion

The Erie injury lawyers of Purchase, George & Murphey, P.C. are pleased to announce that Tim George has been promoted to the rank of Major by order of the Secretary of the Army. The order promoting Attorney George was issued January 15, 2014 and reads, in part:

The President of the United States has reposed special trust and confidence in your patriotism, valor, fidelity and abilities. In view of these qualities and your demonstrated potential for increased responsibility, you are, therefore, promoted in the United States Army Reserve to the Grade of Major.

When Attorney George isn’t representing the clients of Purchase, George & Murphey, P.C., or caring for his growing family, he is an Army lawyer who serves in the JAG corps. His service to our country includes a deployment to Iraq in 2009.
