Upcoming Free Legal Day for Veterans

The law firm of Purchase, George & Murphey, P.C. initiated the Erie Veterans’ Free Legal Clinic in 2016. The law firm is proud to serve veterans on a monthly basis by empowering them with legal tips and tools to help them plan their present and their future. At the Erie Veterans’ Free Legal Clinic, the law firm is committed to empowering to giving veterans free legal consultations.
Veterans often have the need for basic planning services and to address questions related to urgent legal issues. Purchase, George & Murphey, P.C. lawyers are proud to give back to those who make the sacrifice to serve their country and are always looking for ways to expand their veteran support in the community.
One afternoon each month, the law firm is present at the Erie Veterans’ Administration Hospital to provide this service. Those who wish to benefit from this free legal day for veterans may speak directly with the Veterans’ Justice Outreach coordinator and the VA hospital. The VJO is responsible for identifying veterans who may benefit from direction from a lawyer or a consultation.
These consultations can address a broad range of different legal questions, as well as practice areas and the law firm is proud to give back to those who have served to the country by enabling them to handle current legal issues with beneficial information. The law firm has recently expanded the free services provided to veterans by working directly with the VJO coordinator.
Free consultations are now available to be arranged between monthly legal clinics for eligible veterans. These consultations occur at the law office of Purchase, George & Murphey, P.C. and can assist those veterans who have time sensitive legal questions that need to be answered before the next scheduled clinic.
