September 21, 2011, ERIE, PA — A Pennsylvania car crash on Route 19 in Summit Township has put one woman in the hospital and another facing a traffic citation for following too closely. The Erie County car accident happened last night about 6:20 p.m. when a Springboro woman driving a Ford F-150 south on Route 19 failed to stop for traffic in front of her and rear-ended a 2003 Buick Century.
The driver of the Buick was taken to UPMC-Hamot for her Pennsylvania car accident injuries.* The driver of the Ford and other occupants in both vehicles were reportedly not injured in the Erie auto collision. State police cited the driver of the Ford.
