October 16, 2010, Meadville, PA — A 1989 Toyota Camry with two apparently intoxicated male passengers hit a guard rail and rolled over on Interstate 79 in Vernon Township last night.
Timothy Jones, 43, and Craig Smith, 33, both of Meadville, were northbound on I-79 around 5:20 a.m. yesterday when the accident happened. Both men accused the other of being the driver.
Mr. Jones was treated and released at Meadville Medical Center. Mr. Smith refused treatment.
Police continue to investigate to determine who was driving. Charges may be brought.
Obviously, one of these men was the driver and one of them is lying. Hopefully, police get to the bottom of the matter quickly.
