December 5, 2010, Edinboro, PA — Three men were hurt in an Erie County car accident on Interstate 79 near Edinboro yesterday shortly after noon. The three men were in a silver Toyota Yaris northbound on I-79 when they sideswiped a Lexus sedan and lost control, spinning off onto the passing lane berm. The car continued off the roadway and into a wooded area where it struck a tree.
According to police, the front passenger was critically injured while the driver and back seat passenger suffered minor injuries. All three men were taken to Hamot Medical Center. The driver of the Lexus was not injured, according to early reports.
