May 14, 2012, ERIE, PA — An Erie hit-and-run car accident killed a fifty-one year old man early Sunday morning. The accident occurred in the 1100 block of West 38th Street and police continue to look for any information about the driver who fled the scene.

The victim was believed to be walking in or near the street at 1:30 a.m. when he was hit by a driver who police believe was westbound on 38th Street.
