Edinboro, PA, October 11, 2010 — A Franklin Township man was killed when his motorcycle struck a deer. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the Erie County motorcycle collision, by report. Ricky L. Banks was eastbound on Crane Road near Eureka Road in Franklin Township when the deer crossed his path. His 2001 Harley Davidson hit the deer head on and he was killed when his head struck the road.
