Kyle M. Pursley, 19, was a passenger in a car driven by Michael J. Stoddard, 19, of McKean. Mr. Stoddard was reportedly driving northbound at high speed on Fry Road when it collided with another northbound vehicle on Fry Road. The other car in the accident, a 2005 Hyundai 350L, was driven by Michael E. Crane, 64, McKean. Mr. Crane had apparently just turned onto Fry Road from Van Camp Road when he was struck from behind by Mr. Stoddard, although the details of the accident remain unclear.
Mr. Crane and another passenger in Mr. Stoddard’s vehicle suffered minor injuries. Mr. Stoddard and a passenger in Mr. Crane’s vehicle did not report injuries at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation by police.
Our thoughts and hopes are with Mr. Pursley and his family.
