September 27, 2010, Erie, PA — An accident between a subcompact and a tractor trailer at I-90 and Route 97 left a woman trapped in her car yesterday morning for more than 15 minutes. Emergency crews who responded to the Summit Township truck accident reported heavy damage to the woman’s vehicle, which had been t-boned by the tractor trailer on the westbound on ramp to Interstate 90.
Few other details were available about how the accident occurred, the names of the drivers involved or the condition of the woman in the subcompact except that she was the only person transported by ambulance from the scene. She was reportedly conscious when a Perry Hi-Way ambulance crew transported her to Hamot.
The Erie truck accident lawyers at Purchase, George & Murphey, P.C. will report her further as additional information becomes publicly available. Our thoughts and prayers are with this woman and her family and we hope for a quick and complete recovery.
