April 14, 2012, ERIE, PA — An Erie car accident yesterday injured two people, according to early reports. The Pennsylvania car accident involved two pickups at the intersection of West Eighth and Sassafras Streets near 12:50 p.m.
Witnesses say a green Dodge was eastbound on Eighth Street when it collided with a southbound white Ford. The force of the car accident’s impact knocked the Ford on its side, as shown in video taken at the scene. The Ford came to rest in the south end of the intersection while the Dodge was left in the middle of the intersection. The Erie auto collision closed the busy downtown intersection for a short period of time.
A woman in the Ford was taken by Emergycare for care and treatment of her Erie car accident injuries. Another woman in the Dodge was examined by firefighters and paramedics at the scene.
No other details were immediately available. Our hopes are with both Pennsylvania car accident injury victims for a quick and complete recovery.
