June 16, 2012, ERIE, PA — A rear-end chain reaction car accident in Millcreek Township yesterday injured at least two people. The Pennsylvania car accident occurred in stopped traffic in the northbound lane of Zuck Road when a driver approaching 38th Street failed to stop.
The identities of the people involved in the Erie County car crash have not been made public but police reports indicate that a gold GMC Sierra pickup truck was northbound on Zuck between West Grandview Boulevard and 38th Street when the driver apparently failed to observe traffic ahead stopped for the light at 38th Street. The GMC rear-ended a blue VW Jetta which was pushed into a silver Dodge Journey. The impact forced the Dodge ahead into a silver Land Rover LR2.
The VW, GMC and Land Rover vehicles were all towed from the scene of the Erie auto collision.
Two people were reportedly transported to UPMC Hamot. Their conditions were not reported. Our hopes are that their Pennsylvania car accident injuries are not life threatening and that they are soon released from the hospital and returned to their families.
