April 28, 2012, ERIE, PA — Pennsylvania car accidents at intersections can be among the most dangerous as lateral impact forces often result in rollovers. An intersection collision at 12th and Raspberry Streets yesterday resulted in a rollover Erie automobile collision that injured 2 motorists and blocked the road while emergency officials removed the vehicles.
Early reports are incomplete but the Erie auto incident occurred near 2:50 p.m. when a blue Mercury Grand Marquis and a maroon Chevrolet Impala collided and the Chevrolet was knocked onto its roof on Raspberry Street. One of the drivers, a male, was able to extricate himself from the Erie car crash. The other driver, a female, was taken from the scene by ambulance. The full extent of their injuries are not yet known.
