An Erie car crash resulted in two drivers being taken to the hospital yesterday. The collision occurred near the intersection of Zuck Road and Zimmerly Road in Millcreek Township when a motorist exiting the Country Fair parking lot pulled into traffic, setting in action a three car, chain reaction rollover auto accident.
The Pennsylvania car accident happened near 7 a.m. The driver pulling out of the convenience store parking lot was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe. The Tahoe struck a Chevrolet Malibu that had been southbound on Zuck Road. The force of the collision caused the Malibu into the northbound lanes where it collided with a northbound Dodge Ram. The Dodge Ram flipped on its side.
The drivers of the Ram and the Malibu were both taken to UPMC Hamot with auto trauma injuries that are not believed to be life threatening. The Tahoe driver was cited for careless driving, a summary traffic offense.
