September 2, 2011, ERIE, PA — Details are still sketchy, but there is breaking news about a car accident on Erie’s west side. According to early news reports, a Saturn Vue and a Mercury Mariner collided at the intersection of West 38th Street and Ellsworth Avenue near 6:30 a.m. this morning.
The Erie car accident caused the Mariner to roll over onto its roof. A woman driving the Mariner had to be removed by Erie firefighters. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment and diagnosis of her Pennsylvania car crash injuries.
There is still no information available as to how the Erie intersection collision occurred or the condition of the people injured in the Erie auto wreck.
